Modern Logo Design Case Study

Thank you so much for viewing my latest logo design process for a client who owns a brow design and grooming shop. The client wanted her brand and logo to reflect the following: personalized, signature, educational, warm and friendly, and unexpected. She was looking for a logo to reflect a signature/premier style that is unisex. I also begin with a branding worksheet to understand client expectations and vision for their brand which allows me to speak one-on-one with them about their brand. From there, I design a few concept logos for them to chose from.

Here's what was shown:
The client chose the last logo and requested a "J" be added in a handwritten script font.
Now, we play with color. The client felt that royal blue, silvery grey, white, and black best suited her shop.
The client picked the last logo that uses a royal blue/grey gradient as her logo.
Thanks for reading! :)
